May 31 – Alpine Visitor’s Center

Alpine Visitor's Center

Normally, you look out over the valley from 11,796 feet down towards Estes Park. The boys are carving their names in the snow.

The sky was truly that blue – I didn’t edit the photo. Five minutes after I took this picture, a storm blew in and the sky was black.

May 14 – What I saw of Atlanta

Atlanta hotel

The view in Atlanta from the Hyatt was an improvement. Is that the world’s tallest cell phone tower?

I didn’t have time to get to Centennial Olympic Park or Coca Cola World, although I did eat at PittyPat’s Porch, a “unique, historical landmark”.

May 13 – Atlanta Skyway

atlanta skyway

This skyway was about 30 floors up. I liked all the vertical lines in the view. The buildings gave me a bit of vertigo just looking at them.

Personal Commandments

See the big picture. (and get a shot of it!) Step up. Give back. Do something different. Make a lot of mistakes, but never the same ones twice. Be ridiculously happy. Action, not reaction. learn, laugh, love.

Haba na haba, hujaza kibaba.

Be the Change!
